Skouras Design was founded in 1997 by Angela Skouras and Mike Curry, specializing in art direction and design for music packaging and book jackets. Working with Sony Music, Universal Music, and MTV, we produced iconic visual concepts and designs for legendary artists such as Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, among many others. We’ve designed a multitude of book jackets for all the major publishers including Simon & Schuster, Farrar, Straus and Giroux, Picador, and Random House.

We have received numerous design awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, New York Art Directors Club, The Society Of Publication Designers, and The Type Directors Club. In addition, we’ve received multiple Grammy nominations for our music packaging and our work has been profiled in Print, Graphis, and Communication Arts.

As we evolved, our client list expanded to include companies from a wide range of industries, from entertainment and fashion, to health care and manufacturing. Our capabilities include media kits, powerpoint presentations, magazine work, posters, brochures, trade show displays, as well as all types of print and online advertising. We have further expanded our services to include, animated ads, responsive html emails, and web design.
